Student Success

Helping students succeed is our priority.

University of Applied Sciences Europe (UE Amsterdam) focuses on ‘learning by doing’ to transform business talent by providing a space to innovate. Dedicated to inspiring the entrepreneurial minds of tomorrow.

As a student at UE Amsterdam, we will ensure your ideas and talents are transformed into action and practical experience with our BBA – as this is the only way to apply value.

What sets us apart are our connections within the business sector and how we incorporate real-business experience at every stage of the learning process. During your time with us, you will meet industry leaders, expert strategists, successful entrepreneurs who will challenge you to come up with smart business solutions.

As a result of the above, our graduates have a 98% employment rate since 2012. Our graduates have gone on to work at Continental, Dutch Standard, ProgressPlay, Sante Partners, Talent Portaal, CBRE, Yacht, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and more. The majority gain adequate skills to take over their family business, launch a start-up, or convert their graduate internship into a full-time job.

I strongly advise students to be open-minded and get to know everyone at the school. Networking is a crucial part of starting your own business later on. I've gained so much from the connections I made at UE Amsterdam.

  • Challenge week was a memorable experience where we applied our learning in real-world scenarios, enhancing our practical business skills.

ALS Netherlands Foundation

Our students were challenged to collect money in a smart way for a good cause. For the ALS Foundation, students approached famous athletes with the question of whether they would participate in an auction. Sven Kramer donated a skating suit, football clubs from the Eredivisie gave shirts, the Dutch Davis Cup Team came with their official tennis shirt. All with signatures, of course! Find out more.

Beach safe

Great for a day at the beach in the summer, but what do you do with your things, iPhone, iPad, wallet, if you decide to go swimming?

During the Run Your Business lectures, students came up with the solution: a locker on the beach. They are now working hard on their Beachkluis company and have now started the first pilot.

Habitat for Humanity

The Social Entrepreneurship course challenges students to support a good cause. During the study trip in Porto, the freshmen for the organization Habitat for Humanity helped build housing for single mothers. Read more.

Mondain Clothiers

You might have heart of student entrepreneursThey often have beautiful ideas that do not translate in real life. At UE Amsterdam, you as a student also get the opportunity to develop your ideas.

Take Rogier de Bruijn, for example: Rogier started setting up his own shoe brand in the attic of UE Amsterdam. Rogier immediately applies what he learns during the training to his own company. No boring theory cases, but directly in practice! Find out more.
